About Blue Sky Kayaker
My Story
I started Blue Sky Kayaker as a way to share my experiences and insights on things like finding a hobby, enjoying creature comforts and being yourself. As someone who has struggled with maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying active - I wanted to create a platform that encourages and inspires others to lead a more balanced life.
My Mission
At Blue Sky Kayaker, my mission will be to provide valuable information and resources to help people have fun, be healthier, and maybe sell a little Mary Kay too. I am an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay who isn’t trying to earn a car. Just wanting to have funds for a few ”honey do projects”. Oh, and can’t forget a new kayak this year.
Whether it's through sharing great recipes, experiencing the outdoors or tips for managing stress, I want to empower my readers to live their best lives.
My Outlook
I believe that life does not have a one-size-fits-all approach. That's why I have a different outlook to lifestyle and wellness. All aspects of a person's life including physical, mental, and emotional health affect them and those around them. By providing a variety of content, I hope to help my readers find something that resonates with them and puts a smile on their face too.

It was just a forty-five minute thing online learning about a few products and potential to start my own business to help a friend launch her new Mary Kay business. We played a few games, and I won a few prizes too.
What was said about the skin care was just what I needed to hear. I had been interested in finding a moisturizer at least for my face. The lines around my mouth and laugh lines were getting a lot deeper as well.
The decision took a few days, and finally I decided that it just made sense to make a purchase. After all, I was definitely ready to do what I could to repair and rejuvenate my skin. Another decision led me to join Mary Kay for the discount on the other stuff I was wanting too like the Mary Kay CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15. Makeup isn’t my thing. Basically a tinted moisturizer , mascara and a little lip gloss or lipstick kinda girl when I did do something.
Did you know that Mary Kay has products for men? Yeah, I did not know that either.

Every girl knows mascara is a necessity for making the eyes standout! It is one of the three things I usually wear when I’m out and about now. As the aging takes over - you have to start accentuating your best features. I have found out that If I don’t I look tired!
Mary Kay Lash Love Fanorama Mascara is a Coat/Comb/Fan Out favorite for many.
The Lash Love Waterproof Mascara provides excellent waterproof definition. It’s my personal preference since my eyes have a tendency to water.
